Hi People

Ive got to get a new set of 4 tyres within the next few weeks and cant really make up my mind on which ones to go for

I currently have Pirelli P-zero Neros and i don't seem to have much of a problem with them despite most people on here not being very keen

Thanks

have Toyo Proxes T-1Rs on mine.

I like em :D

Did have the Toyos and Yoko Parada Spec1 together, but stuck with toyo :D

lol yeh id say black for sure!

When i had my original cupra rims on i bought a set of 2 goodyear eagle f1's on the front and was amazed at how good a tyre for the money they are! Bough my new wheels and they came with the toyos. Not nearly as good as the goodyears, average in the dry and almost dangerous in the wet!

Goodyears all the way!

f1's for sure, best thing i've put on mine for the price, work well on mine on the track too, which a few people on here will agree with :D

I also really like the Pzero Neros. They were alot cheaper than the eagle f1 and are almost as good a tyre only worse in the wet imo. Hate the toyos. They are worse than crap in the wet.

I've generally always used Toyo T1R's on both Cupras i've had, Eagle F1's are the best IMO but they are a little more pricier than the Toyo's.

Whilst you should NEVER skimp with tyres (always replace in pairs no matter what anyone says!) The Toyo's are not 'budget' in performance, they are a very good alternative to the Eagle F1.

I have Toyo's on the front and F1's on the back and I can safely say I'll be fitting F1's all round when needed. T1R's are as useful in the wet as trying to write on wet paper!!

Definitely f1's When Ian took me round Cadwell Park last year i couldn't believe how they performed and just stick like glue. That's what i would choose any way mate f1's :)

I had Pirelli P-zero Neros when I first bought my car and tbh they were very good tires only I didn't like the look of them.

Not sure if it was me but they always looked warn and flat when they was not.

For this reason only I did not bother getting another set and went with A539's.

Uniroyal Rainsport 2's ftw - rated nearly as good as the F1s in the dry and uber uber good in the wet. Uniroyal have been around a long time now but aren't as commercialised as the likes of Toyo (who I'd never use again after dreadful T1S' on my old car) which makes them excellent value for money.

Did a wet track day at Brands a couple of weeks ago and felt very confident in the tyres' ability. When you bear in mind how much wet weather we get in the UK it makes sense to me.

Check out Camskill Performance for prices, way cheaper than anywhere else I'd tried and very good service and quick delivery

Looks like its pretty close between the Goodyears and the Toyo's. Im not really keen on the Toyo's as ive had them before and they lasted about 4 months. Thats why i went for the Pirelli's and to be honest ive not got any complaints with them. seem to be as good as the Toyo's and last twice as long.

F1's.. i used to love my toyo's until i got persuaded to get a set of eagle F1's by a special offer. Never looked back. Better in the dry and not even a comparison in the wet. F1's win hands down.
