Price of a new manifold?

Hey,

As some of you may know I failed big time in the old MOT test because of emissions, car is in garage today to see if it's worth it to solve problem or to scrap...

... Anyway, they've found a crack in the manifold and it may just need patching but if it's too big to patch then it'll need a new one. I've no idea about the prices of these, so was wondering if someone could enlighten me to what sort of cost I should expect for a new manifold

Yeah I did see that cheers mate, but isn't that a performance one? And it's for a cupra too! Do you know if the prices are similar for a 1.4 engine manifold? As I noticed somewhere on here someone saying their manifold was £300 for a bog standard new one on a cupra! Can't find that thread now though!

had a look on the bay is it a inlet of exhaust manifold your after.
found these two dont no if they wil help.???

there is a new one on there for £299 but it says its for a 03-04 model but you proberly looking at the same price for yours aswell for new.

Local VAG specialist somehow managing to get me one for £120 including fitting.... if I need it fitting that is. They're gonna try patching it first on Friday. £120 seems pretty good though, I was expecting £300!!!! Dunno where they get those prices from on ebay???!!!???
