I don't know in terms of miles per tank but I was doing about 30mpg before I had it mapped. In regards to it being lowered I am getting this done a week on Monday so will post pics. Gone for eibach sportline which lowers the front 50mm and the back around 35mm. Even though the front is lowered more you wouldn't know.
There should be a thread on here with pics if you're desperate to see.

seems really good 30mpg, do you think you mostly hit over 300 miles to a tank?

On the current tank I've got 350 miles racked up and the fuel light has not yet come on. This is the furthest I've ever got on a tank in 20,000 miles and requires sensible driving. This is all B road driving as well, I imagine you could get 400 no sweat on the motorway.

However, if I drive using the car and roads to the fullest (safe) extent, I get just under 300 a tank consistently.

howdy there...i am picking up my car this afternoon after havin skirts, spoiler and eibach sportline springs fitted, so will try to get a pic up over the weekend sometime for you! i cant wait to get it!

mileage wise i get around 250miles from a tank...but i am doin short stop start journeys almost all the time...and that is with some "fun driving"... < saying that though my cars only done 8k miles so might still be loosening up?

over 300 would be easy with motorway driving at a sensible speed....

Well this is the thing with a map I don't think I've every driven economically with it on, It's just so tempting to put your right foot down all the time :D

But I was getting 34mpg on the motorway mapped...driving in stop start traffic I managed 14mpg on an 8mile journey once!

Conclusion:

Map won't affect mpg, lack of self control will!

White FR DSG

Here's the wifes FR DSG
Around town she's lucky to get 20mpg....
When i take it for a long run it achieves 30+.

We had the kit put on from new, painted the mirrors and fitted the cupra grill, the graphics went on shortly after.
Trying to get her to agree to black rims......

Where did you get the vinyl checker flag from? I've been looking for something similar for a while now

it was a company based in northampton who specialise in graphics.... it wasn't a chequered flag though the guys made up all the different size individual squares and then laid them on! very impressive especially for only £200!

I get about 28mpg over a tank, with a mixture of town and motorway driving. About 300 miles to a tank so far, but that's without hammering it, much!

I think my average is 32mpg at the moment. It's quite easy to get up to 37-38mpg if you take it easy but the heavy right foot is just too tempting most of the time. I usually fill up at the 300 mile mark but I usually have just a quarter tank left at that.

Have just got back from my parents and filled up before I left. 190 miles later and I am 1 bar above half way. Have not checked the trip but this seems pretty good to me and it was not being driven like Miss Daisy.
Normally lucky to get 280 ish but it is only used to a few miles to get to work and back and other short journeys around town

I've never got anywhere near 37-38mpg over a full tank, despite being steady away with the throttle. Haven't averaged 30mpg yet, though perhaps to be trying to get good fuel economy out of this model is missing the point of owning it.

I've been updating my spritmonitor.de page since I got the car. I think mine is the least economical amongst all the FR's in there, it's even more than a few Cupras as well. There are two possibilities: a) nearly everyone who uses spritmonitor cares about fuel consumption and they don't go fast b) my car has a problem. I hope it's the former.

Here's the graphics in MPG:

average around 32mpg on the motorways, but low to mid 20's around town.
can usually get 300-350 miles out of a tank though

That's more like it! I've actually banned myself from looking at the mpg readout because I end up going into 'economy driver' mode. Ooh, if I drive really carefully I my average mpg might go up by 1 by the end of the tank. Now I don't really care what it says. If it's low, then I must have been enjoying myself!
