i wouldnt swap my LCR for a derv...

if you had a go in a mapped LCR im sure youd be stuck with thoughts of selling body parts until you get one :)

im starting to like the 4 cylinder rumble of the diesel!

is yours remapped? mine has a stage 1 and its made a huge difference. having said that everyone will get bored of what they currently have.

lets say you didnt get a diesel in the first place and had a 225 LCR, this post would of been "should i get a remap or a FR+ PD150, i want more TORQUE" or you'll be remapping the LCR...

*runs from the petrol heads!

Probee, don't do it man. The Mk1 is soooo much prettier than the Mk2 even if it does have a tonne more mechanical grip.

The 1.8t engine isnt no master piece in the sound department either. But the exhaust sounds good and you get plenty of turbo noise when remapped with uprated filter.
I wouldnt go back to diesel from my LCR unless i started doing alot of miles.

i tired a golf 1.8t 150 an that sounded nice an was quite quick so im thinking the lcr will be 10x better

Hey ive got 3 more ib/ft than that ;)

I love my oil burner, ok its not as fast from a stand still, but i bet its faster than a 225 from 20mph upwards!

Get it mapped, its a whole new beast!
