Anyone know if the suspension can be softened a little?
If so how much hassle is it and approx cost?

Yeah recently installed eibach sportline springs. Ride is lowered 35mm at back and about 55mm at front. The ride is a lot less 'crashy' now.

A lot of ppl are going for Koni FSD dampners and eibach sportline springs. A lot better ride than standard.

Have you got 17's or 18's?

17's are much nicer to drive around on.

Isn't the proline kit recomended with the koni's? As the sportline lowers it too much?

Hmm think I may stay with the prolines as the koni's were designed for oem springs.

don't mean to come across as a boring old fart, but is it possible to get these kits fitted and leave ride height pretty much as it is? i'd be interested in changing the factory setup as i do find the ride crashy (as do my passengers!) so does ride height have to be less to ensure a smoother ride?

To be honest even the sportline springs down't feel like too much of a drop i've not caught bumper on any speed bumps. But i suppose you could go for the koni fsd dampners and keep your standard springs. Should make a difference to your rid quality...

Done it...has FSD's fitted and kept standard springs on my FR 170. Net result...brilliant. I have posted around here regarding this, there'll be lots to read somewhere!

As said, try the FSD's and keep the standard springs and the ride quality will be noticeably better.

Fitted in 48 hours from phone order- can't drive until the morning as red calipers not dry enough by close of play tonight- Going to WIM for 4 wheel laser tracking beginning of next week- Should I go for GSD3s as well?
