sorry to be an pain.

I have the ipod connection under seat and also bluetooth.

1) Does the Iphone 3g work with bluetooth and also show all my phone book in the dash screen?

2) Will this also work connected up to the ipod connector and be played as an ipod

3) can both of these be done at the same time.

If so I think ill get one, saves me having to have an ipod and an phone

I have the ipod connection under seat, bluetooth and iphone 3g...

1 - Yes and Yes

2 - Yes, although it does not charge and also is a bit too big to fit in, im avoiding it as i dont want to scratch it either (managed to scratch my old ipod classic, fiddly place to put the dock!)

3 - Yes it will do both at same time, just mutes music if you make/recieve a call

I have the RNS510 so im looking at getting an MDI unit attached so I can use the iphone from the display etc :)

my 8100 seems to work, well it connected and the dasboard display came up with the phonebook! lol

I havent actually made or received a call yet though as just picked up the car!

wow .. blast from the past that post!.

8100 and 8310's work, but don't display missed calls / received calls/ dialled calls ... except on its first sync to the car, phone book does update each time though which is nice.

Hi all...I'm due an upgrade of phone soon, and was wondering if anyone knew if the "SAMSUNG i8510" worked with the "FULL" bluetooth?

Was looking at the Nokia 5800 (which I'm certain works well with it), but my Phone Contractor does not stock this phone, so was looking at the Samsung i8510 as an alternative but similar phone...thanks

Any early adopters tried using a new iPhone 3G-S with the Leon's Bluetooth yet? I'm tempted to ask for one for my birthday in a couple of weeks but it'd be disappointing if it didn't work properly with my car.

work with bluetooth and also displays the phone book last calls missed calls etc on the dash. Has dropped 2 times for me since Friday with no reason why.

Most of the time works flawlessly.

Disappointed it does not work with the ipod connection under seat does not charge. Never managed get music working neither.

Nokia 5800 Express Music phonebook doesn't work with my Leon Stylance 1.8 TSI MY2008  Good that I tried with my friend's 5800 before really buying it and getting into troubles. With my Sony Ericsson W880i everything is perfect. Seems I will have to upgrade to SE again...

Thanks for the info, very useful. :)

I don't have the ipod connection (I would just use AUX if necessary) so that part isn't as important to me. Bit of a worry about the 2 disconnections but if it works well most of the time, that might get sorted with a future software update perhaps...
