My Tolly has just past 160k miles. It is a 2002 TDI 110.

Only real problem to date, leaky doors, but then everyonr gets that..

Have replaced the front suspension though, wishbones, drop links, roll bar bushes etc..

Just noticed a "Machine gun" like noise when turning left at slow speeds, suspect a CV joint or something ?

Top motor, 200k here we come !!

86k on a 1999 Toledo 2.3 V5. I got the car with 82500k on the clock last october i think it was. All cars i have owned started with highish mileages. First car in 2005 was a 1994 106 1.1 which had done 73544miles, sold with 89000 miles in 2006, second car was a 1993 306 1.6 bought with 103000 on the clock, sold with 113000 on the clocks, my brother blew it up at 119000 in 2007, third car was a 1996 306 1.9 Dturbo, bought with 128000 on the clocks, engine blew at 159000, replaced the engine and it were wrote off at 164000miles in late 2008. :(

Almost 143k miles on my 2001 Leon Cupra.

Main issues:
- Clutch pedal replacement sue to snapped housing.
- Rear bushes replaced.
- Stock N75 failed.

Not a lot for the age & miles of the car. And if mine runs to 178k+ like on an earlier page I'll be very happy!! :D

On the A281
Currently on 72000 in the 03 LC. Bought it on 60000 last november. At this rate looks like its going to be 25k ish miles per year. I hope she's good for it..
Going pretty strong, so far has needed..

Coolant temp sensor
Bodge the exhaust back onto the car
And assorted wear and tear items replaced in services, filters etc.

Had my 2000 Tolly Tdi for 3 years starting when i was 18.. Nothing went wrong with it ever for 40000miles. Nothing went wrong with it at all actually as i sold it with my sister so i still see it often. Damn i miss that car. Makes a funny knocking noise from the rear suspension that noone could workout and the doorseals leak, but apart from that its a rock..

On another note, called a plumber the other day he turned up in an 03 toledo tdi with 210k miles. Said he'd only ever serviced it, nothing else. Door seals leaked and the engine sounded a little rattly from outside but lets be honest, thats nitpicking..
