takes practice, the secret is to hold it roughly in place and then tw@ it with the palm of your hand :D

yeah there is a knack too it but hard too explain in words . i usually push down skirting and pop in back clips (if you know what i mean ) i think you need too train them too go in . no point forcing , [usually helps if you give them a clean]:)

get it in place with the lugs, then hit it to the point you think you might break it, then hit it harder, thats the nack your looking for :D, they are a pain and it's sometimes down to luck, one of mine went staright on, the other was having none of it after 2 hours of trying.

 hit it harder mate

Glasgow'ish
Loosen the side skirt and remove enough just to fit the cover back on its only a few screws and it pops back in very easy. I was hitting it really hard and was getting pretty mad, gave up and saw a post on here saying to take off the side skirt and it worked a treat.

Good luck.

Sledge hammer and smash it on ;)

*maybe not a good idea if you want in one piece*

Just a hard hit with back of palm usually does it for me ;)

I didnt need the part nr, just tell them which one it is you need at the stealers coz the fronts are different to the rears. Oh & they dont come with the plastic cable

When I re-attached my new one it went on really easy & its still on but I dont know what I did, just lucky I suppose [:@]

had this issue with 2 of mine, 1 front, 1 rear
ended up having to fit some self tappers into them to keep them on as no matter how many times i tried the bottom clips would not slot in.

one came loose on the m'way before this and started swinging about at 80mph, not anymore!

I would also like to find the guy who designed these, and poke him in the eye with a cattle prod!

... I now have one in the boot. After attempting to get it on for 2hrs and several neighbours also having a go I have decide that the chav-hole-in-side-skirt look will have to do. A really crap design and cheap plastics!
