If you got the power behind it to back up "the look" then yes go for it...

If not then you run the risk of it looking a bit chav...

I see a old think mk1 fiesta popular with an intercooler like that the other day made me chuckle untill he booted it...The thing just went...

Righto..Bit of a Update..

Me and a few Friends are going to doin my engine rebuild Bottom end wise but im gonna get my Head rebuilt to someone who now what there doing..

Anyway over the last few weeks ive noticed some Odd Mayo in my header tank but im talking very minimal...So im thinking that ive got a Leaking headGasket..But to be far it has done 147k miles lol....

The reason i noticed this is that my rad Temp switch was full of mayo but the coolant system has very little in it....Just plain water but a Tad bit oily...

Now what bits do i need to take the cyclinder head of with? Is it like a extended alan key shape? I do have a vast range of tools tbh as do my friends so it should'nt be a problem...

Im wanting to Wip the Piston out while im there and fit my new rods and Bearings which would make alot of sense...But were do i stand with the Pistons? can i use my old Ones or do i have to buy new ones and then deglaze the bores But making sure im throughly clean with it all...?

Im going to purchase the Bentley manuel as ive heard most of the Procedures and Torques Setting are in there...My plan is to fit for the bottom end..

New Connecting Rods
New Connecting Rods Bearings
New Water Pump (metal Impellar)
New Timing Belt
New Belt Tensioner
New Alternator Belt
New Head Gasket
New OEM Head Bolts

Re-use Or new Piston Rings....

As for the cylinder head il get that Rebuilt and the guides Checked...

Im also gonna Need Gasket Remover,Arco Red Engine Assembly Lube & Piston Ring Clamp....

If bill or anyone can give me some searious advice id be Greatfully appreacited...

P.s I also Have a Compression Test kit here which i bought a few weeks back What Compression ratings am i looking at for each cyclinder to be heathly...Also there no Overheating,Powerloss or Even smoke or oil out of the exhaust.

As far as the oil in coolant goes, i think it will be the oil cooler leaking. Quite common, especially if there are no other problems with the engine.

As far as your engine build goes, give me a shout regarding torque settings, procedures and part numbers as i have Elsa and Etka on my computer.

Good luck. :D
