I'm Running Custom Code Phase 1 mate, just like you :), so i'd of expected good figures. I'm gonna try putting the N249 bypass back in as it did seem to work well when I did it recently for diagnosis of a boosting problem (which ended up being the 249 solenoid valve!!). I've fitted a new one now.

I'll keep you posted. I'll stick my curves up when I get home so you can have a look to compare.

Oh and not to over do it I'm gonna do the rocker cover in matt black to blend with the back of the inlet manifold. Doing the charge pipe brackets the same as well. :)

JCapsOnline (in the MK IV Golf section). They're in America and some say they're a bit expensive but we've got Gordon to thank for that have'nt we? The washer bottle caps are very well made though, I'm really happy with it and of course not many people have them. The power Steering Cap was from eBay together with my Forge Oil and Water caps but it's available from the same site and they charge a flat shipping fee to the UK so it might work out pretty reasonable.

Another small update as got my self a new headunit as my Aura finally gave up the ghost and the changer eat a load of my CD's at the same time.

Wanted something that I could use my Ipod with but could browse through tracks and artists from the headunit and not have to just stick the Ipod on random like some so after some investigation went with a Sony CDX-GT930Ui which is one of these.....

Only had it since Wednesday but initial impressions are very good and sound quality is superb. Just waiting on glovebox liner and will then remove changer and have a full size glovebox again......yay!!

On a slightly different note on my way into work this AM came across a suit in an Astra VXR who thought he was the man.......................he genuinely looked like he was about to cry when he realised he wasn't!!! Aha ha ha ha ha ha ha:cartman::cartman::cartman:

Don't underestermate the spanish shoebox!

New Addition to the VAG Family

Well as some of you may know I stopped using my LCR as a daily drive due to putting an excessive amount of miles in a short time and had resorted to using my wifes delightful escort, complete with pink vinyl flowers down the side, to troop to and from work. Sadly though ;) the escort has finally decided it it time to meet its maker :D and this is what we have just purchased as a replacement...............
