Had an interesting chat with someone very clued up on tuning the other day regarding this. Whilst the Seat Sport is bigger, apparently the pressure is not correct due to the size, whereas the Forge one, being smaller, maintains closer to the perfect pressure...the Venturi effect, apparently..I'm currently reading around a lot as trying to decide which FMIC to get myself, just found it quite interesting.
Pressure is constant unless you get a restriction within part of the system "Venturi effect" this is where some people change the "pancake pipe" for a 63mm pipe instead and have to hack a bit out of their bumper. Thus having a 63mm inlet and outlet therefore minimising the venturi effect. Unless the actual core of the intercooler is much smaller then 63mm then there isn't much effect.
I'd be more worried that they both have the inlet and outlet on the same side, thus reducing the efficiency of the intercooler itself.
