Then started by changing a few things. Fitted a Genuine Seat Leather armrest, changed all the bulbs for Xeon gas charged and chrome indicator bulbs all round to get rid of the orange look, de-badged the boot, Fabia rear wiper arm, smoked side repeaters, changed the original sat-nav for a Pioneer P4100DVD 7" touchscreen headunit and removed the CD changer in the glovebox and got the replacement lining from a dealer. Also fixed a few problems, it had no rear numberplate light units and the hazard light relay was going mental (changed the relay and was still doing it so wasnt that. WD40 the stalk and that fixed the problem). gave it a good hoover, clean and polish.

Thanks mate. I fell in love with the interior, thats why i got it, lol. Looks better since i fitted the leather armrest. Iam quite impressed with the camera given its price. Also works fairly well at night with its infra red. The camera is drawing power from the reverse light and theres also a sensor from the headunit that goes to the reverse light along with the camera power, so when i select reverse in the car the screen automatically switches to the camera, then when exiting reverse the screen goes back to what it was on before.

the reverse camera is great especially as the leon is a PITA to judge when reversing

yep all the cars ive had in the past were small hatchbacks, Fiesta's, Micra, Metro and vision out the back is easy. The Leon is the biggest car ive had and vision out the back is pretty poor then i get 3 rear headrest in the way too, lol. Much easier when reversing now.

Loving the interior...

reversing camera is awesome, well done :)

Thanks :D

Very nice; wouldn't mind getting one in this spec myself ;)

How much did the armrest set you back?

Steve

£100 for genuine VW\Seat one in excellent condition with all the fittings on eBay.

Where abouts did you get the camera from mate been after one for a while

£30 from maplin. Search for reversing camera on their website. I think its really good for £30, tbh i wasnt expecting much when Pioneer reversing cameras are over £200. Its got infra red for night vision as well. Like i said there are better camera out there but for £30 you cant go wrong.

Got the tints done over the weekend and got some Heko smoked wind deflectors. The tints are a dark 80% Noir tint on the rear. Wind deflectors are pretty cool when going down the motorway with the window slightly open. Deflectors and tints go well together. Just want a light 10-20% on the front now and maybe a dark tint sunstrip.

Also changed all the interior and numberplate lights for bright white LED bulbs.

As mentioned in another thread, i picked up a set of 18" Kahn RS-R's. Still need longer wheel studs to use with 10mm spacers to get the correct ET and they all need new tyres and will be opting for Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 225\40\R18 Tyres. Backs went on for the purpose of the picture but will need bringing out with spacers.

Just a little pic update. Got the 18" Kahn RS-R's on and opted for 4 new Toyo T1-R's 225\40\R18. Looks a little high on 18's and considering a slight drop in height.....maybe 10mm but really didnt want to lower it.

Anyone know of some good 10-20mm lowering springs that will still give a smooth ride, i cant be having a stiff bumpy ride in this car as i use it for work and do hundreds of miles a week.
