Well been here for like 3 years or so now, Its time for me to trade in the ibiza and get another car.

I'm not sticking with SEAT due to my finances sucking so bad, but I'd just like to say a big thanks for all the help you guys have given/advised me over the years.

Thanks again.

Mods: if this is in wrong place, please move.

I've gone for an diesel Astra:

It is a nice motor I assume the 150 so quite quick. Just watch out for the EGR valve which is prone to failure and also the dual mass flywheel.

The 1.9 GM/Fiat lump is not a bad engine but has a couple of know issues whcih can turn costly if it is the flywheel new EGR valve is about £70, worth getting done before the car's warranty run's out if still under warranty. Any grumbling with the clutch depressed is the flywheel starting to disintergrate.

Astra is a another car that is quite good especially SRi guise and always prefered it to the Focus to be honest hope it proves a reliable and fun motor for you!!

And yeah it is the 150 so its got some beef in it!

Still got 20 month warranty, so it will be going back if any problems with serious stuff
