told him no-one here takes rack out... and always seems to be done within a hour

do you all do it in the car?

just text him to ask if he can fix it without actually taking the peddle box out

No need to take the rack out at all, it's fiddly but can all be done in the car.

Anymore than 2 hours and I'd be questioning it tbh. Should be do-able in an hour if you know what you're looking at.

well, i rang him and told him to do it with the box still in the car, and told him to read the instructions i printed from here.

He said drivers seat is out to make it easier, so hopefully will be done by end of 2moz (cambelt kit wont be delivered until 2moz dinner)

Peddle box is done... His words were "Autoworld know **** all"

Question is now, do I wait until dinnertime tomorrow for a genuine cambelt from autoworld, or get it done tonight with a cambelt from local Road & Rally Distribution place?

took me about 1hr to do pedal when mine went, that included spraying the pedal again after welding it up :)

and cam belt kit is only about £100 from SEAT
