How much for Tdi Cupra?

Going to sell my '04 plate cupra & move upto a 330D, quetsion is whats it worth / should I get for it at trade / private sale?
Metallic grey, Cupra Tdi, '04, 75k miles, FSH, cambelt @ 60k, extras inc crusie control, ESP stability control, black cloth interior, well looked after etc

I heard some very optimistic values recently such as £9000 which is ridiculous, i would say realisticly its worth £6500 as a bottom figure.

Have a look at part-ex aswell if you're thinking of buying a 330d from a dealer.

I know not the same, but I part-exd my mk3 ibiza for £1000, when realistically if I'd sold it private it was going for about £500 in the condition mine was in!

Not sure the part-ex rates on a cupra tdi, but just ask around.

Trade in would be between £4500-£5500 add a grand or so to that for a private sale. I have a mint 150TDi FR+ with 41k, 55 plate and all the toys and was offered £6000 from a Honda dealership.

They just dicounted the car you bought mate, meaning that if you didn't trade your car in you would have got another £500 off the car you bought.

Can't remember exact figures, but they took my car part-ex, also gave us money off screen price, and we squeezed out of them full 12months tax & mot, new tyres, some scratches & dents to be removed & a full proper valet.

That's what happens when you buy from a dealership desperate for a sale at the end of the month

Prices seem to be really variable. I have been looking at moving to a newer model and cannot easily get a handle on the right trade in price of my 55 plate FR 150. It seems dealers are asking for a sticker price of £8.5k plus when they sell the car but less than £6k trade in. That's a big margin.

I was offered between 5-7k on mine trade in - so there is a huge difference.

Selling privately (with all mods) for £7500.

I could strip her down & put up for £8k as standard, and sell mods for another £500 on top of that, but I really cannot be arsed !
