Cheers all It still shocks me every time!

It's currently running a k04 with a handmade GRS intercooler and radiator, a 3" downpipe without cat.

I pulled the engine out last week to have all the mounts xrayed and all was fine :)

Also did the cambelt, tensioner and water pump while it was out.

Just re routing some hoses, clips, fitting some gauges and my data logger and then it's out on the track :)

Ace project.
Is this cheaper or better than tuning the engine that's in there for a start?

I know there are various packages for the mini and am sure you could get the same power levels as a stage 2 LCR would get.
I take it the plan is to go Big Turbo in the future?

Willie you start with either 163 or 170bhp (depending on charger) and the ceiling for that charger and cc is about 280bhp IIRC. That costs around £6-8k!

I ran at 250 bhp and 200 lbs of torque for a while but the top end was boring.

I already have a 3" exhaust and a big intercooler, so it's ready for more zoom!, but being a track car I need smooth delivery of power not and sudden boom!

I may go bigger turbo soon, but to be very honest only when it's running as a quattro that I will put more power down.

How heavy is a LCR?
