Speaker Fitting on Parcel Shelf

Has anyone ever fitted any speakers to the parcel shelf in a Toledo?

I know its Metal but I was wondering of anyone had made another shelf ontop or had cut into the metal? Pictures would be helpful

There is some chap on an Audio forum that has done this plus much much more. This guy did some pretty mental stuff. I think the parcel shelf install comes up on page 3 or 4.

Just read that thread through and the work the guy's put into that is mental! Its absolutely amazing

I have 6x9s in the rear but i bought some boxes designed for fitment of 6x9s. I screwed them to the shelf so i can take them out and theres no nasty holes left.

i have 6x9s in the rear shelf with 18mm mdf supports re covered in acoustic cloth so they cant be seen will try and get some pics

Yea i Saw that thread on there a while ago and was utterly amazed by what he has done. I would love to completely strip my whole car and do it all from scratch, had some awesome ideas for the dash with moving a lot of stuff.
v5russ, if you could get pics mate that would be amazing as I was thinking of doing something like that!
