1999 seat ibiza mk2 paint code

Hi all, new to the site, am amazed at how much info there is,
I need to find the paint code to get some paint. I have looked in the boot and rang Seat with chassis number and still cannot find the colour, could some kind person give me the info I need.
The paint code in the boot is very faded and looks something like L579 or LS79.
I gave the person at Seat the chassis number and he gave me the code P5 for the body and P5 for the roof?
Surely something not right there.
Thanks guys for any help, I have to replace a wing after some person kindly wrecked a front wing via their vehicle and didn't stop.

Many thanks vngtx for the reply, but not there, the colour is a bit like storm grey colour, I got a piccy of the car if anyone can give me an idea of the colour code that would be great.

if you go to halfrauds they have a book with ALL the paint codes in them. they can even make variations to match faded paint.

Not for Bengal Yellow they can't

went to halfrauds and they could not find either L579 or LS79, rang Seat and they came up with a two digit code, which means nowt, HELP! many thanks for replies. Any idea about colour.

YOU are brilliant, you are the man. YEA it's the colour. Now to spray the wing and fit it. Hopefully nobody else will do damage, Thanks for the help you have supplied.
