PD160 clutch on a PD130?

110bhp

Hi i have recently bought a 2004 seat ibiza sport (pd130)

Toying with the idea of a remap but want to know if my clutch will handle it. have read that you can expect about 165 bhp from a remap. With my engine at 115K i have a feeling my clutch wont handle the extra power for long.

So....

Looking on jabbasport website their clutches for a pd130 start at about £600!!! for a sachs all singing all dancing one. That not really in my budget!

Been looking at them on ECP and for £127 i think it could make a cheaper mod. Also you get get a std clutch from Seat Dealers too.

Questions are would it

1. Fit the pd130 engine?

2. Handle the extra few bhp you get from a remap?

Any help appreciated guys!

ETKA suggests that they are.

They are both 240mm and the replacement part number is 03L 105 266 CE, both for the ASZ and BPX engine codes.
