its better to fix a problem that your car has rather than sell it for a new one. you learn a lot more - and you will be prepared to tackle problems that your next car further down the line will bring you.

trust me, i went from zero knowledge to some level of competence in this whole car jazz!

My thoughts too.
I went from zero knowledge to a bit more with the LCR, its good to pass on and add to the knowledge gained from others on here.
It's good to give something back to the forum as we glean loads of knowledge from it

Thanks guys. I probably should do that, have a go at myself, but I fear I'd just make it a hell of a lot worse! I'm very ashamed to say if I had to even change my tyre I'd struggle, since I've never had to do it. Never really done anything on a car, cos I know I'd just break it ;P

/takes a look on the forum for limp mode problems anyhow, and crosses fingers
