I purchased a Leon Cupra about 4 weeks ago now from a small showroom in Peterbrough. The car has been driving fine until last week. I took a 6months warranty out with a company which cost £300 extra.
I took it to a garage and they said the gearbox needs replacing.
The warranty company will only pay the first £500 on repairs.

What would be the best thing to do?
Should i take it up with the place i brought it from?

i thought anyone selling anything e.g washing machine, car and so on

the seller has to supply a 3 or 6 month guarantee or warranty, if no joy get on to trading standards see what they got to say.

Fight your case mate. Don't give up. At the end of the day you payed that extra £300 to cover any faults and to get your money's worth i would take it back to them and demand them to replace gearbox. You could regret it if you don't fight your case and get it replaced.

I wish you all the very best matey!!! GOOD LUCK!!! :D
