Why bother, the N249 should be totally bypassed after your alter the pipework and therefor redundant, i took mine off altogether.

I just used a 10w 330ohm resistor, the fault actually never gave me an EML, just showed up on a Vagcom scan is all.

Edit above for the link.Once i fitted a resisitor the code has never shown up again.

You need to block the pipes if your leaving it electronically connected.

will that cure it? started it up without all the pipes blocked and it lumpy as hell, knocking aswell.

With regards to the resistor used. Does it have to be a wirewound resistor 10w 330ohm one? Can the wattage be different.

I was just looking at Maplin's ones but they look different are there are no 330ohm ones.

i did mine and havnt blocked the pipes off just joined the 2 together and it runs and drives spot on

what does bypassing this pipe actually do? iv only just bought my lcr and could do with all the help i can get
