leather armrest

did anyone ever retrim there armrest lid in leather or is there any guides or how to for taking the lid apart?

...I have seen an armrest retrimed in white leather for a white Bora...my mate actually used a OEM Leon armrest for it so it can be done. How to actually get the lid of I have no clue but I can confirm it can be done.

yeah that would look real nice, all the seats and door cards in white leather aswel! im going to my local seat garage tonight so il ask them how to get the lid bit off!!

got it off and retrimmed after. the cloth lid is glued to the part with the hinges

...by any chance is the cloth for the OEM Leon armrest the same as the OEM Golf Mk4 armrest?
