i think it all started when they came up with the VVT attack map, claiming 300 bhp from a ko4 turbo. I think most peeps were interested, but they still didnt come up with proof or something.....so i imagine all the bad publicity through here was damaging them.

To be fair to them though, they mapped my car in Aug 07, and its only a stage 1 map (but James did tweek it here and there cos he mentined how healthy it was) and i made 281 on the rollers a couple months back which is excellent for a stage 1. Even Shaun from AmD said its extremely fast, very good figures for a stage 2 map; let alone a stage 1. He also warned me to look after it cos its almost too powerfull for a stage 1.

The guys were very helpfull at JBS i thought, so i am intrigued myself as to why they decided to leave here.

As with anything, things change over time, so the affiliation was ended. Nothing more to say there...

I would like to 'clearly' point out that the decision taken by SCN to not pursue further sponsorship was taken not as a slight or comment against any product offered by JBS or CC.

We came to the conclusion that continued sponsorship was no longer a comfortable proposition for SCN at this time.

SCN always does its upmost to help its sponsors and members alike, but some issues need to be resolved between customer and company directly. These problems can and do put the site and its owners under considerable pressure.

We also firmly believe that people should have the right to fairly and constructively criticise any services received by SCN sponsors. (ie not rants, members should learn to be critical constructively)

Furthermore we have no interest in marketing the perception in which a company is seen on these forums. Unfortunately the pressures applied to SCN in recent years have made us cynical that further sponsorship is a professional fit for SCN and so we took the regrettable decision not to extend the sponsorship term.

As we extended in our notification to JBS/CC, we wish them continued success.

Should you wish to contact JBS/CC they can be found at

Tel: 01246 455 005
Email: [email protected]
Website: www.JBSAUTODESIGNS.co.uk

No further trading will take place on the forums.

Please bear in mind that rants or critical/negative posts regarding JBS Custom Code will be removed from the site and the poster instructed to deal direct with the company.

Thanks
