3" vs 2.5" downpipe on a stage 2 k03s

It is all go! you doing the work yourself? did you change all the gaskets when you fitted the k03s on mine? cos the turbo to manifold gasket has blown.. sounds like a tractor also how long you reckon that would take to change?

Yer I did all the gaskets on it. It's really easy to change the gasket undo the three bolts from mani to turbo all the bolts from mani to head and it's off. And when it's off you could port the mani that's what I would do. O yer and no I'm not doing the work myself I have a friend who's been a mechanic for 30 years doing the hard parts.
Also he's great mates with a guy with a cnc shop who builds drag cars for a living. Got lucky really still nothings cheap but I refuse to do things half hearted.

Yeah i wouldnt of thaught you would of cheaped out on a few gaskets, i might just get a jbs manifold if funds allow. Yeah i bet it ent cheap, will be worth it! might have too come down and see it when its done it will be rapid after all that.

Yer come down once it's all run in and mapped. Jbs mani looks good I was tempted with one myself but I have bt plans for next year

Yea i was thinking get the jbs mani then 3" dp and decat, then get maybe go hybrid next year

cant wait too get the mani on, apparently adds 10% over 4500rpm which is exactly where it need a bit more power

3" DP on the k03's makes the car quicker and it will make more power and hold onto it higher up the rev range.
