Easy, unplug the battery, remove the air bag just pull the plug out of the air bag and put to one side, remove the nut holding the wheel on, remove the wheel put the new one on and put it all back together. The trickiest bit is removing the air bag at the back of the steering wheel there are two slots you need to insert a screw driver and wiggle it about ;) what you are trying to do is compress a spring so it releases a pin which will free the air bag. you MIGHT get a air bag light i cant remember.

You will only get an airbag light if you have the airbag disconnected while the battery is connected.

Make sure you dis-connect the battery before you do anything to the airbag and only re-connect it when the airbag is correctly plugged in and safely back on the steering wheel!

But it isn't a good idea to play with the electrics with the battery connected anyway! - especially in such a critical system!

It can take upto half an hour of faffing about before you disconnect the airbag anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it

I did a guide ages ago showing the locating tabs you need to move -

Wow, makes it look so easy a caveman could do it (sorry you might find that funnier if you ever saw any of the Geico Car Insurance commercials from america). Seriously though it looks really wasy, im less scared of doing it now.
