first off, man they dont like to give you any slack on the loom do they? i can only get the aerial lead plugged in with the stereo 3/4 slid in. i have much less skin on my knuckles and back of hand from wedging my hand up inside the dash..

:headhurt:

anyway my main point, is it normal on the PD130 (or whatever) that with an aftermarket stereo theres a massive gap between it and the CD cubby (the hole under the stereo)? the cubby tray plastic looks to be clipped in properly..

I have a slight gap with my cd player, but its only small.. and you don't notice it.

Do have any photos of the gap?

Have you got the plastic surround which is required to fill the gap?

i dont on me, it was dark when i got in earlier.. i can try and get some in the morning.

thinking about it, its probably as the edge of the stereo is tapered and not square.. like so..

If it's got the facia around the stereo it will have a slight lip on the pocket below because the facia has a rounded edge which sits slightly behind the holder.

You'll not notice it in a few weeks time :)
