heater matrix gone?

I think the heater matrix has a leak, got a fine mist out of the airvents today when switching on the blower and there appears to be a leak in the passenger footwell, slightly greasy so could be antifreeze, how difficult is it to replace the matrix?

Im sure its a big job (dash out job) iirc but someone more experienced than me should be able to answer this for you
