just bought myself a seat ibiza TDI sport 130

can people let me know what problems i might incur? on a 03 reg with 100,000 on the clock?

also what i should do to get the best out of my car? performance or economical?

What is the script with running a car like this on bio diesel can it be done?

Remap, 170bhp. Improves mpg and driveability if driven off boost.

However, clutch has done alot of miles, so might not be able to take the increase in torque from the remap.

Keep it well serviced, run some millers ecomax diesel additive through it on every tank.

Dunno about bio fuel.

Enjoy

My clutch is on 142k and the car has been mapped for the last 12k and is fine. The most likely problem will be the boost pipes to/from the intercooler - mine blew and disintegrated the clip after 75 miles on the map.

Still the best thing I've done for the car though :D

don't think biofuel is worth the effort, was reading a topic and think someone has tried but this engine doesn't like it!

just remap it! they're pretty economical as it goes :p
exhaust, intake, dump valve maybe a few other bits if you wanna get more power

Definately dont use bio-diesel.. the engine doesnt like it.
And dont stick a dump valve on your diesel either... it does more bad then good :p

I second a remap, probably the best "bang for buck" as they say.
