C2 aerial and lack of radio reception

I know this topic has been covered before, but I couldn't find any in conjunction with my question.

I just fitted my C2 aerial, now I don't get any radio reception. I have the standard Alana headunit, and want to keep it. If I was to purchase this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Seat-Ibiza-To..._CarParts_SM&hash=item56429d8e53#ht_500wt_922) bad boy, would it fit and would it be what I need?

Also how does one fit it?

Not had any experience with this particular booster, but it should fit and work ok. It's only a few quid as well.

can you get one of these with an iso input and not a standard din?

I don't thinkj the standard head unit needs one of those, I only had to buy one for my aftermarket head unit.. Give it a go anyway.

Well when you fit a shorter aerial, the reception is reduced.. So fitting one of these can make up for the lack of reception.

I also have a C2 aerial mate, and my reception is epically poor too!

Simply.. they just plug in-line between the aerial socket on the back of the unit and the wire from the aerial itself.

Then the blue wire needs a ignition feed, and thats it.. Job done!

sorry to jump on this thread, didnt want to start yet another aerial thread..

am i missing something with the C2 aerial? the thread on my genuine citroen item seems too long for the aerial base and leaves a 3-4mm gap?
