Unsure what this button does?

Hey i have a seat ibiza fr 1.9 tdi 2004, having only just got the car i am unsure what the button does that is located to the right of the accelerator pedal, or next to the bonnet release catch. Would post a picture to show but unable to because of my lost post count
Any help would be appreciated

Has it got a Logo on it? theres a thread in the mk1 Leon section about this button and it turns off the sensors in the car when the alarm switched on, so that if you have kids/dogs (why you would, I don't know ) in the car while you go shopping, you can lock them in and they won't show everyone how loud your alarm siren is

I think if you press the lock button on the fob twice it does the same thing, could be wrong

I thought that was double click to dead lock it?

double click takes off the deadlock feature!
just press once and it locks then deadlocks

Oh! When i do that it just sounds like it deadlocks it. Guess i'll just be pressing it once, cheers
