I like the light above the ashtray too, I have a similar idea going for that. got a red LED strip from ebay to connect up to a 9v battery, but im tryin to see if i can get it to wire up to the cigarette lighter instead.

Don't think it's the pre-face lift mate.

Yeah, that led strip was on the car when i bought it. Although it's stopped working recently.

Just to add, I am also very interested in how that light is wired up in that hole between the ash tray.

I was looking at moving the light out the ash tray and up there but it looks like you have to take the whole plastic center out first
