The last week or so iv been thinking about getting an induction kit. Iv been looking at either the neuspeed P-flo or the BSH true seal. However im turn between the two kits because i perfer the sound of the P-flo but would also like the airbox with rubber trim lock that you get with the BSH kit. But also want to keep the OEM look of the standard engine cover, so heres what i came up with......

Contact BSH or dubtek and see if i can get an airbox with rubber trim lock on its own. Then fit this with the P-flo induction kit then mod my air box to fit.

Whats does every one think of this idea? also if anyone has a BSH true seal fitted what is the sound like as on youtube it has a strange whistle to the one fitted on a golf?

Would take the top from from those two unless you plan on running a big pipe from the vent in your bumper.

I've had the neuspeed P-FLO for almost 3 years now. Awesome bit of kit. Last week however the rubber mount came off. Sent a quick email to the guys over at Neuspeed and had an email back within the hour. An apology from the manager who asked for my address and sent the part out. it was on my door step within 3 days!

I have no experience with BSH so can't comment on them.

I like the sound of the P-Flo, if you like to turn heads then put your foot on the gas, let off and then give it a blip. Best way to describe it is like a turbo flutter noise.
I have made my own air feed into it but the divide like you want would be useful. There is a pipe near the cone that gets quite hot so I can see the advantage of getting one.
They brought a red one out which wasn't available when I got mine but that looks pretty cool. Comes with a nifty little heat shielf to put over the turbo too.

I have also bought a GTI Ed 30 Engine Cover and cut it up to fit... think there is a thread I started up about engine bays that should appear on search. Satin Black painted it then wrapped other bits in carbon.

if i had that i would cut a hole in the side nearest the wind where the cone sits and feed a cold air intake to it from the front bumper , would be brilliant then.
