Leon rear wiper conversion

Sorry to hinder everyone with another rear wiper thread.

But im really struggling to decide on what wiper kit to go for. The current standard one is a joke and the noise would drive you mad.

Im deliberating between the fabia rear wiper...but not sure wether the hatchback or the estate one would be the better option ?

Any guys with pics or experience with either of these?

Hi, i have just fitted the hatch wiper kit on my car, works perfect no noise no smearing. Im no expert but im not sure there is really any difference between the two.

Yeah i know its basically the same kit, but is the estate one not longer ?

Just wondering what most forum member went for. Made up my mind to buy one tonight or tomorrow to get it fitted asap lol

I believe they are the same size, 16 inch, which is an inch shorter than the standard leon one.

Just found out the reason for the hatchback cover is that you need the hole in it for the water jet, which the estate cover doesn't have.

No problem, and yeah definitely been much happier with mine since i changed it. Works and looks a lot better, makes ya wonder why they didnt just put it on as standard lol.

Just fitted fabia rear wiper to my car, the noise level is ZERO compared to the standard, and it looks smart. My vote goes Fabia wiper!

you could also consider the Touran rear wiper which is just like half inch shorter than the original one.
it is full plug-n-play

think the fabia is the way to go for me. Far smoother and cleaner looking. Fits in well with the de-badged back
