Is it completely standard?

Best is forge 007p, must make sure you fit a recirculating one.

You've got a choice of mods depending on what you want,, lowering? Everyone will tell you coilovers.. For stance or track? Make your choice, as quality will be different. Prices vary from 260 upwards.

Remaps. Depends on mods to car and how far you want to go. You will want to fit a bigger intercooler. There's a sweet universal kit on eBay, always floating about.
Exhausts. Miltek is the best off the shelf. Turbo back or cat/sport cat, all depends on how much you wanna spend!

I could keep going but you'll find your own path.

Welcome, and enjoy

cheers ppl. it has an exhaust from cat back, but it is goin for a re-map mid june,:D i had a look at the split-r dump valve, for both noise and recirculation, does it need to recirculate the air??

i wouldnt get a split-r if i were you. theyre awful. if you get a 007p with a softer spring, as long as you have an air filter, youll get the desired noise.

I ran a split-r on my previous 1.8t for over a year and it was fine but the noise is nothing compared to other dump valves, I would just get a 007p as they are cheaper and dont require any tweaking to set up
