MK1 Leon Candy White

Heres some pictures of my standard 1.6 leon

Seing as these cars in white are rare i thought id spent a bit of time adding cupra r kit and some other styling...

started with cupra r interior and front bumper.....

then rear....

then main beam & fog 8000k hid

Then bbs ch matt black alloys with silver lip

poweflow 4x6 oval rear stainless steel exhaust

then finally lowered on some skirts

other mods to include teardop mirrors, tinted windows and few other bits and pieces .......
maybe eventually drop the lump

where did you get the front bumper from and prices if poss. oem??? also did you use coilovers or just lowering springs?
btw uve done a sweet job on that really love the look in candy white

next was engine.....1.8T conversion

so got on the internet to find a decent doner car..

with a decent engine........

and got to work......

started by stripping down the doner car
took everything off the car labelling each and every wire as i went

leaving just the shell

i then stripped down the 1.6 and slowly put it all back together.....

cant seem to find any more picture of the conversion......couldn't have really gone much smoother!!
had a minor problem with the battery earth, wasn't grounded very well..... set me back 2 days... but a bit of sand paper and jobs a good'un!
she fired up just as before! all in all conversion took 2-3 weeks spending a few hours every evening!

i then thought id treat my wheels to a gloss re-spray with a white lip leaving the finished project
