Can you OD on LED ?

I have new led sidelights and love the colour!! Was thinking of maybe led interior light and rear numberplate lights? Would this be ok or would I need a regulator thingy? My car is a 55 plate 1.4 sport . Has anyone any advice or has done this ? I heard the numberplate lights blow quick and actually don't light much of the plate. Is this an mot fail ?

i have numberplate, sidelight and reverse light, with HIDs they are all going strong for ages and just past its MOT with no advisories so go all out i need the interior ones...you can never over do it lol

Which light? My eml is on most of the time, but I've never seen it mention a problem with the brake lights

Anyone give me any refs for interior light and numberplate lights ? Plus how do you get the number plates ones out ?? Ive sussed interior light lol. I wondered about led blue? May look crap ...

think it is the eml one if i remember correctly.

Don't do it, your indicators will flash dead quickly as if you have a bulb out. There may be a way of sorting it with resistors, but I don't know personally.

I love my LED's,

I have Hids, sidelights, number plate, and the interior light in LED... Going to to all the back lights soon.

Just makes it look more modern

well ive just ordered the numberplate ones and the interior light aswell. certainly looks better than a smokers white colour lol..

i had led brake and rear sidelights, instantly put a light on my dash and wouldn't clear until i changed them back to candles, side lights and number plate lights still going strong though!

My cars an old 55 plate so no such light I think ? I'm not gona do anymore though.
