Oil, oil filter and plug recommendations

Oil, could be Fuchs from GSF, filter main dealer, plugs NGK on-line seller - or buy the lot from any VAG dealer - though not longlife oil unless you really want to stick to that service strategy.
I'd go to your local TPS. Will be cheaper than the dealer and will be genuine parts. Google "Trade Parts Specialists". Or alternatively Dave at SERE could sort you out with the right stuff.
They'll (TPS) sell you Longlife 3 oil too, last time I went it was £20-£25 for 5 litres. I'd still change it regularly though, 5k if petrol and 10k if diesel.

I was £5 from Dave at Sere for a filter and sump plug.
Oil, I went for Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 fully synthetic. Meets longlife spec but im still changing every 10k or less. It was £51 in halfords or £41 on trade price

I would check first what is needed for petrol but im sure it would meet the specification. Opie oils site is good for finding out which oils are suitable
