Brake lights come on when out of car.

Ive tried searching but can't seem to find what I need. I parked my LCR up on drive last night locked car up as normal made sure lights were off. Then woke up this morning looked out of window and brake lights were on WTF!!! Now is this a fault with microswitch or brake light switch.

I kinda had something similar before where the lights stayed on in my Lcr. Was a fuse on side of dash. Check them all mate.

no mate it's your brake light switch , commmon fault , it's located under the brake pedal ,

That's what I thought when mine did this but turned out to be a fuse.

Checked fuses (1st thing I did) all are ok. Thanks for help guys.
