I learnt to drive in my parents Ford Mondeo - then 3 weeks after passing my test a guy pulled out in front of me and it was written off.

Then I shared a 1.2 Clio with my mum for a year untill branching out on my own and getting my first SEAT

Looked like this when i bought it:

Then i got bitten by the mod bug and it looked like this before I sold it:

Had it 3 years and wanted something economical, and thought about getting a Leon but after test driving decided i liked the mk5 Ibiza better, so after a 3 month wait it arrived:

The mod bug hasn't died so the mk5 now looks like this:

1500GT Cortina, YES PLEASE!!! OMG those were awesome cars, my dad had 3 of them.

From what I remember

She was Ascot Grey black vinyl roof, RS Four spoke alloys thing is it had a bench front seat which we changed for the seats from the 4 door 1175L we had. They were non folding so if you wanted to sit in the back you had to climb over them.:D No seat belts, with the 1175cc we were using as a donor, we married the gearbox to the 1500GT it went like **** off a stick bottom end but was under geared at the top end. Traffic light killer but ran out of puff at about 60! Then fitted a gear box from a Lotus TC, and it used to fly! Custom diff and leaf springs and fitted discs at the back. Checked on DVLA a few years back and sadly shes long gone

Reg 373 FXP  RIP girl!

Jason you a fan of the SEATs are you? lol.

My first car was a peugeot 106 1.0. Screamed its little head off at about 55-60mph. I would get it up to 75 max if i needed to get past a lorry or something though on the motorway lol. Hills...not so much, see you at the bottom again!

Wasn't worthy of pics.

Next was the Ibiza :) Has a special place in my heart lol.

My first car was a 2004 VW Golf 1.6 FSI. Unfortunately I have no pics though. Was quite bland but a great car and never once let me down. Then I got my Cupra.

no pics i'm afriad but my car list:

1. Punto 1.4 with 8 valves of power! Changed because it struggled to get up the slip road on to the M1 from Leicester services, and also windy motorways were scary
2. Golf MkV 1.6 - lovely car but sold to go travelling
3. Mercedes C180 Sport Coupe - lovely to drive but boring, too much assistance, not enough fun
4. BMW 1 Series - prob best car I've had but didnt like the manual with all the town driving after a while
5. The Cupra - i like it I must say but the build quality after 3 and 4 is clearly noticeable. Bought coz I lost my job and thus had to cancel my S3, bought something I had cash for. Probably the most fun car I've had and dare I say the quickest
6. Next, I would say the new 2L Z4 or maybe an Evoque

Bit of a boring list and no photo's, but.........

Mk1 Escort 1100
Hillman Avenger (Want it back)
Opel Kadett C 1300cc
Vauxhall Nova 1.0
Another Vauxhall Nova 1.0
Rover 213
Mondeo 1.8 GLX
Nissan Tino 1.8 (slowest 1.8 I've ever driven)
Nissan Micra

Wife drove (and chose) them from the Nova onwards, I had a company transit and then a Fiesta TCDI sport van, so didn't really need to drive them much.

Pity that was not the 2.0 16v GSI model.............. machine and a half but the engines kept breaking.

Mine kept breaking :( Spent as much on repairs as I did buying the car.

Would've loved a Hillman Avenger Tiger, couldn't afford one though :(
