I did my roof with vinyl. It was about £35.00 from eBay, i thought if i didn't like it i would only loose £35.00 rather than alot more. I made a few little mistakes but nobody really realises they are there. I got quoted about £80.00 from a local company in the first place, i think that's quite cheap compared to what i have heard other people say.

Had the daughters Ibiza done just recently, with Scotch 3M vinyl (after the crap vinyl that was on peeled off in the wind...) and it cost me £175. That included removal of the old stuff, clean up the paintwork, and reapply the new stuff. 2 blokes about 3 hours each. If yours is a new roof with nothing to remove then it'll be a lot less, as most of the time was taken up cleaning and prepping.

I got my roof vinyled with metallic black and it cost £150 but he also did the number plate recess and bottom of my front bumper aswell. I wanted gloss black but was told it shows the paint imperfections.

I know this might sound odd, but your car doesn't really need a black roof, it's already a really nice gray, why bit get a different colour than black? Or a pattern?

Sorry for slow reply been busy...... not got a name, his number is 07717712525 got him saved in my phone as vinyl man. He's not a company just a guy who does it on his drive but he's **** hot... my roofs faultless
