i have a stage 1 map an that is all

How much power do you want and just as important how much money are you will to spend.

it is producing around 180 now and im looking for around £230 bhp

Well that would be a stage 2 turbo and clutch, but dont forget the brakes.

would the fr pd170 turbo fit my car and if so what would it take

From what I've seen the turbos between the 140 and 170 wont go, the actuator is on the other side.

Manifold is designed different so downpipe doesn`t line up and as it is basically the same turbo with some slight modification no point.
