Rear window demister

Evening all, looking for pointers please.
Discovered rear demister is not working as should.
Only clears on wing mirrors
No lines even start to clear.

Only things I have done to potentially cause this is fitting the privacy blinds and i changed high level break light in spoiler. To do spoiler I did start to remove trim before being pointed in right direction.

Not sure where cabling or any plugs are that work this, so where do start?

Get a multimeter on the widow to see if you got voltage going through.
Not looked but there should be some spade connectors you use.

Sounds like i need to take trimof and purchase a multimeter, oh joy!

Make up one with a bulb and holder and 2 pieces of wire then you tight sod

any thoughts on where i need to test?
trim off is esy enough as only a few metal clips - spares will be ordered as know i will break some!

in fact, wonder if a fuse! obvious really to check that. doh!

Check on the actual rear screen should be wiring connectors under the trim

checked fuses and non blown
oh well wait now for the multimeter to arrive and test
