Replacement wing mirror

Evening you lovely fellow Seat people.
Quick question;
Would the teardrop wing mirrors on a cupra r be electric folders as per the FR?
Some ****** broke mine so had to buy second hand to repalce it and its arriving tomorrow hopefully.

should be yes, i believe all lcr were default elec folding
same shape as on all leons, it is window motors and mirrors that was removed to save pennies on other models

Mk1 LCR 225. Unfortunately clipped a BMW M3 wing mirror while avoiding the damm pot holes in my road. Urgh! BMW must be harder than LCR as his is ok and mine smashed. The glass smashed and the casing also. Can anyone suggest where to get replacements. Doesn't have to be original, the steelers will want over £300 I reckon. Thanks for any help.

Cheers Lee but do you know why there are wires hanging off the back of the broken glass. I don't think the glass is heated for LCR.

Yes it is heated works by pressing the rear demister button.

It works when you press rear window demist button? Cheers Lee I didn't know that. I will have to buy a replacement glass which can be heated then. On Mk5 golf the wing mirrors are heated using the small round button on drivers door which adjusts wing mirrors.
