fuel flap wont unlock???

Not sure if anyone else has had this and could give me pointers on sorting it?? Basically went to get fuel and the flap wouldnt open, it was still locked, so locked car and unlocked, still the same. Managed to get tje flap open with a bit of brute strength but now cant shut it obviously!! I dont its siezed but cant rule that out yet, doors and boot operating as normal also. Getting seriously fed up with this car lol cant get any progress made for fitting the daftest problems that shouldnt even be possible to happen

reach into the boot for the manual release cable. Think you will need a new solonoid.

Mine did that just lube it up then worked fine after

Behind the carpet in the boot, youll have to feel around to get it. Dont pull too hard on it either.

To get the solenoid off pull back the carpet and undo the two screws you can see facing you and slide the solenoid which is mounted on a plate out.

Im guessing the manual release is in the same region as the solenoid then?? Will have a look tomorrow.

found the manual release, but pulling that showed it was definately siezed so bit of duck oil and a set of grips sorted it
