temp light flashing & beeping

Turned on this morning at it flashed and beeped at me then went off.

Checked coolant level...bob on

Car gets up to temp too.

Any ideas?

Your need a new thermometer mate or try cleaning your one, that may sort it out. Common fault

Maybe just a warning that the temp is really low mate?

Top up your coolant....might look ok but even if it's a very small amount down it beeps....

Mine did a few months ago and literally needed a spoonful

think it gotta be to do with the temp

-6.5 where i was this morning at 7.30am and this happed to me as well and tbh it usually dos this to me sometimes in the winter only

good question. I dont think it matters too much long as your temp sensor iss all good you shouldn't have any problems or beeps

Yea it is part of the bottle. Need to get a new bottle mate common fault.

it did it just the once and never again since...Is it worth even trying to clean the sensor? or is the header tank cheap enough just to replace?

Worth trying to clean....flat headed screwdriver just to move over the surface...
