Custom made sill protector

Following a thread regarding custom made sill protector I contacted Lockwood International as their Golf TDi sill protectors were looking quite good and for £30 they seem to be very good value for money.

Now they have come back to me with regards to custom made sill protector for Seat and have confirmed that they can make for Seat but they will need an order of minimum 20sets.

If we can get 20members then I'm willing to go there so they can take the exact measurement for custom fit sets or if any other member who's near Leeds willing to go round ?

Let me know whoevers intrested and we can get the ball rolling.

Their workmenship can be looked at on their website, pity that they dont make one for Seat.

I'm gonna email them and ask if we can all have our choice of words in the same price.

I would prefer Cupra R but don't mind plain ones as long as they are perfect fit

Can anyone confirm that all leons have same size door sills ? or they different model to model ?

Yeah, I was hoping for something very understated, perhaps just the Seat Logo or something even simpler...

They do look nice but they dont cover the whole sill area and they not gonna last longer and few scratchs would make them look aweful hence I'm after the stainless steel one.

But I'd like a set that said "FR", or "LEON FR", plus in the official SEAT Italic font if possible.

Ok I've got the reply from Lockwood and as I thought they need to be exactly the same othewise its a different production setup for different wordings.

As I said earlier on I don't mind having them plain but to me fitting is the main priorty.

So its upto you guys what you want written on them so I think we need to have a poll if you guys are still intrested or we can have SEAT on all of them so that covers all the varient of SEAT.

I believe they only do stainless steel ones and even if they do black or carbon then the whole lot has to be same.

I'm still in if it can just come in normal stainless steel with a simple understated seat logo like the 'S' SEAT followed by 'SEAT'

What do other people think? At least it opens it up to other people, not just Cupra/FR owners.

Few questions

Would this be for front and rear sills?
What's the best way to adhere them to the sills?

I'd be in providing they're a generic type design ie not fr or cupra, as mine is a standard tdi.
