Ive just bought a mk4 ibiza cupra tdi and only one of my horns is working, could it be the steering wheel and where are the horns located on the car? Im pretty sure these have dual tone horns instead of normal beep beep job.

I am affraid they have a single peep tone.

Its the most "gay" horn ever made.

I am mostly to scared to press mine

Single tone on top of the range cupra? Its certainly a crap horn, will have to rob one of a fabia vrs, where is the horn located?

Behind the passengers side fog, i have a twin tone on mine fitted it myself, it's the same as a range rover horn, cost about £10!

As i really want to replace mine as said above im embarrassed to use mine even when i see someone i know il just ignore them

Phillips head screw on the plastic bit and it just pops out mate. I'm sure there was a discussion about dual tone horns melting the relays on here a while back though so research first!!

I seem to recall people fitting Golf horns which were louder. Its been discussed before so a search should bring it in.

Audi A8 horns sound great. Got a pair back home which I never got round to fitting. Will do so eventually!

Dad fitted a pair of A8 horns to his VW T5, which I think previously had just one horn. No issues and it's been about 12 months now.
