Oil & Fuel Consumption

I have a 59 plate 140 BHP PD Altea. The car is using upto a litre of oil every 1000 miles and fuel consumption is 27mpg (This is measured not relying on the cars display).
The car has been serviced including all filters and has been checked on Diagnostics by Seat dealer and they say no fault found.

There are no external oil leaks on the engine. The car drives OK plenty of power no problems what so ever.

Any body any thoughts on why the fuel & oil consumption is so high ?

Thanks

Possibilties:
Turbo oil seals leaking
CCV pulling off too much vapour.
EGR valve/system coked/oiled up.
If you are really unlucky piston ring(s) failing.
May think of others with time.

like he said...

CCV is crankcase ventilation. The vacuum created in the inlet piping is used to draw off fumes created in crankcase/canshaft chambers by the oil circulation pressure/heat. Also draws off any absorbed moisture. Feeds said vapours back into engine to be burnt.
Do you get white smoke from exhauist when you hoof it? Its difficult to see sometimes unless in good sunlight.
If your tubo seal is leaking on innlet side oil will be drawn along inlet tubing and tend to clog Itercooler matix (reducing airflow) and also clog up the EGR.
