Stuff I got to add on :
4 branch(think needs a mod)
Apex rsr coilovers.
Poly bushes.
Upper and lower braces.
New oem discs and pagid blues.
B&M quickshift.
15" oz tuper t's with new 888's.
Should make a fun little toy I reckon..

Got car tested today..
Cold start valve was stuck and it wouldn't tick over but good old wd40 and a bit leverage freed it off.
Gonna change gearbox tomorrow to a lower final drive CZM one.

It has nuespeed on rear and turbo one on front.
Yes, spacers are a consideration but not till I see how it turns in on track.
I'm sure I'll be after more power at some stage.but will see.

Ooh, just re-read your original post and realised this was Ed's old car! I know it & him from the meets we used to have at the Hunters Inn @ Brookwood.

Yeah, I hope to see you on track at some point. My mum lives in Durham and Croft is a track I haven't done - yet!

My Cordy is in with Saxon atm being polybushed and having some Vibra Technics engine mounts. Looking forward to getting her back next weekend. Going to get some trackdays booked as I haven't been out since Snetterton in November last year.

Looking good. Loved the colour so my current toy was bought to try and echo that blue. How do you operate the windows? The gearknob is held with a little grub screw in front. I think the key was given to you but I can search the garage again. I did find a cambelt tension pull and some rear wheel bearings though.

What's the current coilovers like now? I remember them being quite hard and they weren't wound down that low. They didnt do that many miles until you picked it up. The rear arb from memory was in the middle stiffness setting. Glad to see the topaz is alive and kicking and running ok after 4 years of storage!

No worries, I had a merc one that had similar type of locking so I managed to hammer it on and remove no problem.
I changed the rear bearings when I put the new discs on.
The front windows will soon have sliders in them...
Cheers.
